A typical day at the bakery started at 4:00 a.m., with the preparation of bread which was baked in brick kilns.
At 1:00 p.m. they would start to distribute bread some would ride with Donato in the truck and others would ride in different buses.
The bread would be placed in baskets and white bread in sacks.
