Donato Orduño and Clemencia Melendez parents of 13 children including Gabriela Orduño. Villagers of Santa Maria Del Refugio,
located in the city of Celaya, in the state of Guanajuato. Donato founded his bakery in 1965 with the help of his children.
A typical day at the bakery started at 4:00 a.m., with the preparation of bread which was baked in brick kilns.
At 1:00 p.m. they would start to distribute bread some would ride with Donato in the truck and others would ride in different buses.
he bread would be placed in baskets and white bread in sacks.
Return time was at 7:00 pm and every day they had to fulfill that task. Donato had in his hands the characteristic
gift to give the bread a unique and exquisite taste that all guanajuatense bread has and is recognized nationally.
Gabiela Orduño like her brothers inherited the gift of knowing how to prepare a delicious bread.
After much effort, dedication, and discipline Gabriela Orduño opened her bakery called Anakaren Bakery # 2 in 2005,
being in partnership with her brothers Martin, Gregorio and Maria Orduño.
In 2015 Gabriela and her husband opened with great
effort and sacrifice Guanajuato Bakery.
The sole purpose of bringing bread to your table with this unique and authentic flavor that
only a guanajuatense can bake.
